As we head towards our AGM in October and this year's term of service for the MRECC Management Committee comes to a close, we are looking for new members to join and support the direction of the centre. The Management Committee has been responsible for a number of initiatives including fundraising for equipment, centre marketing and communications, securing grant funding, implementation of Story Park and Xplore, working bees and more! We are excited to welcome new faces to our committee who can continue to ensure our wonderful community centric centre remains the best in Townsville.
We are seeking parents or carers with a vested interest in the centre and particularly those who have skills in the areas of fundraising, HR, maintenance, health and safety, governance, and financial/accounting. We are therefore asking all parents and carers to consider whether you could donate a few hours of your time every month, to help keep MRECC as special as it is. It’s a great opportunity for you to have an integral say about how the centre is run.
